Oprah: REthink KFC! Say NO to Free Chicken!

I am so angry at Oprah right now. How dare she promote such an unhealthy product to the millions of people who trust her. She had an opportunity to create a real discussion on health and food availability. Instead she hands out coupons to KFC's new grilled chicken. The chickens are not raised in anywhere close to a healthy or sustainable way. The meat is bad quality and full of antibiotics. The Meat is marinated in MSG, Palm oil, Soy and sugar. The sides are even worse. If Oprah wanted to get behind something how about Oprah sponsored co-ops in the inner city neighborhoods that can't get a grocery store. How about getting behind the struggling non-profits trying to get locally grown produce in the schools. How about coupons for vegetables, meat or fruit! Oprah, millions of people especially poor people are going to use these coupons and internalize the idea, "heah, Oprah says it's healthy"
